The Local Eatery & Drinking Hole

1065 Fourth Ave. San Diego, Ca 92101, (619) 231-4447[email protected]

The Local Eatery and Drinking Hole opened its doors in 2003, as a family owned and operated restaurant and bar. Mina Desiderio saw an opportunity to carve out a niche in the Financial District of Downtown San Diego. The philosophy was simple: Bring the beach and all things that define San Diego downtown. The vision was to be an establishment that supported local sports teams, local cuisine, local beers, local music, and local events, hence the name, The Local.

Resident Brewing delivers a San Diego cool, inviting, and relaxed beer experience under the stewardship of award-winning brewer Robert Masterson. At Resident, we hope that you feel invited and a part of our brewery family in every sip. Become a Resident.

The Local Pacific Beach

809 THOMAS AVE. SAN DIEGO, CA 92109, (858)-263-7475[email protected]

The Local brand was born over 15 years ago with the opening of The Local Eatery & Drinking Hole in downtown San Diego. In the summer of 2014, the dream of bringing The Local to the beach became a reality.

Our menu blends some Local favorites, pub-style grub, and coastal inspirations resulting in a delicious variety of flavors. The cocktails utilize fresh, hand-pressed juices and the beer selection highlights our adoration of the craft beer movement in America's Finest City. To enrich the experience, The Local Pacific Beach features the best party at the beach, a lively weekend brunch crowd, and shows the biggest sporting events on a spread of high definition televisions around the venue.

Wonderland Ocean Pub

5083 Santa Monica Ave. Suite 2C. San Diego, Ca 92107, (619) 255-3358[email protected]

The San Diego area’s first amusement park opened in the small beach town of Ocean Beach on July 4, 1913. Wonderland Park was built that year on a sandy beach south of Abbott Street, between Voltaire Street and the ocean, which covered an area of 9-1/2 acres.

More than a decade before Mission Beach’s Belmont Park opened, Wonderland represented the height of summertime entertainment in the up-and-coming city of San Diego. Waterslide, roller skating rink, carnival games, bowling alley, a zoo with 350 monkeys and the West Coast’s biggest roller coaster — Wonderland had it all.

Our decor is an homage to the amusement park's former glory. We aim to offer a modern-day good time. Fabulous ocean views, friendly service, and a great casual menu complete our Wonderland concept.

Blue Water Seafood

3667 INDIA ST. SAN DIEGO, CA 92103, (619) 497-0914

We grew up in and on the water. Surfing, diving, boating & fishing the beaches and blue water of San Diego and Baja California.

Fresh local seafood has always been a part of the experience. Fish tacos on the docks in Ensenada, where they were invented. Ahi sashimi in the galley on the boat ride home, sliced from that morning’s tuna catch. White Sea Bass pulled from the Baja surf and grilled on the spot over a mesquite campfire.

Our menu is how we share those experiences with you. Every day we start with the freshest fish we can get, and carefully prepare it to enhance its flavor. Every plate, every sandwich, every fish taco is an expression of fresh & local.

Whenever possible, we buy local fish directly from the fishermen who catch them – or we catch them ourselves. Ask the guy behind the counter “what looks good?” He might cut you a piece of Yellowtail he caught off La Jolla himself – early this morning.
